Andrea Resnick is the President and Founder of A. Resnick Communications, LLC. A fourth-generation licensed funeral director, she grew up in the industry as her great-grandfather started in the business with a funeral home on the Lower East Side, and her grandfather founded a family-owned Jewish funeral home in Fresh Meadows, NY, of which her father was President.

She joined her family’s business in 2013 after a career in corporate event planning and became a licensed funeral director in 2017. Understanding that her true passions are funeral service and education, Andrea decided to embark on her own and founded A. Resnick Communications, LLC, where she works with businesses in the end-of-life industry, including funeral homes and memorial companies, as well as individuals who are navigating pre-planning or at-need funeral planning. Andrea believes that everyone can benefit from open conversation, especially when it comes to taboo topics.

Andrea is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. Andrea is a natural connector who thrives on building meaningful relationships, hosting engaging events, and fostering community through parlor meetings and dinners within her social and professional networks.

Andrea is an active Board Member of UJA-Professional Women, serves on an industry committee for ZAKA, and is a dedicated member of the Museum of Jewish Heritage and Gotham Networking. Her passion for connection and collaboration continues to enrich every initiative she supports.
